Spider-Man: The Heist DLC Initial Thoughts

Spider-Man's Heist DLC was just released a few days ago. If you've been doing any research online, you'll know one of the main villains is Black Cat, a character we encountered briefly during the initial game (She is involved with a side quest of spotting cat dolls around the city).
Black Cat is an interesting villain. According to Peter Parker she has a "good heart" and is "complicated". Needless to say I've put about an hour an a half to an hour and forty five minutes thus far into this DLC. During this time I've done some of the story line and some of the side quests.
The side quests that I've done so far haven't brought a ton new into the game. You have more crime activities to complete, although some of them are new (consisting of disarming bombs). There is another villain, Screwball, that sets up challenges around the city. A lot of these challenges seem similar to that of Taskmaster's challenges from the initial release. You have to find hidden paintings from the original Black Cat (these tasks are similar to finding the backpacks).
Ultimately, in my first hour and a half, (the game tells me I'm 40% complete with the DLC already), it's more of the same Spider-Man we loved with the initial game. If you loved the initial game and wanted more of the same, it's definitely worth a look! The story line is intriguing thus far, and the side quests are as fun as they always have been.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this post, check back next time for more video game blog updates!
